      a) Fm. Vaca Muerta
      b) Fm. Molles
  3. Modelado 3d facies (geológicas y geomecánicas) e integración probabilística con la sísmica
  4. Aplicación a desarrollos tipo factory.

Bio

Claudio N. Larriestra: Master degree in Geology, Córdoba National University in 1976. He has more than forty years of experience in data analysis applied to E&P both in hydrocarbon exploration, reservoir geological characterization and 3D modelling. He carried out projects for different oil companies in several countries, including Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru and USA. He currently works as a consulting geologist on topics such as reservoir modelling, geostatistics and geological data science applied to E&P, leading his company GEODATATECH SRL. From 2014 to 2018 he worked as a researcher at the state company YPF Tecnología S.A. developing new methods of reservoir modelling with special emphasis on the integration of chemostratigraphy and seismic applied to conventional and unconventional reservoirs. From August 2002 to 2014 he was president of Larriestra Geotecnología S.A. company of which he was founder and specialized in statistical data analysis and geological modelling applied to E&P, surface geochemistry and well geochemistry projects. From 1993 to 2002 he worked as an independent consulting geologist for reservoir exploration and evaluation for his own company Larriestra, Curia & Asociados. Moreover from 1991 to 1993 he became head of special studies for the oil company CAPSA-CAPEX. Between 1989 and 1991 he worked as a log analyst for Western Atlas Argentina. Between 1980 and 1988 he worked as a research geologist at the National University of Rosario, in Sedimentology projects. In 1989, he won the SAPIU (CONICET) project award for the National University of Patagonia. As a professor he worked at the National University of Rosario as professor of Geomorphology (1978-1984) and he was director of Geology Department (1986-1988). He also worked at the National University of Patagonia (1989 1990) as an associate professor of statistics and geochemistry. He is the author of more than 40 scientific papers published worldwide; he has received several awards at national congresses. In 2010 he was awarded by the American Association Petroleum Geologist for his research in Multipoint Simulation applied to Complex Geometry Reservoir. Among other associations, he was appointed permanent member of the International Association of Mathematical Geosciences.

Fernando Larriestra: PhD in Natural Sciences, National University of La Plata (2025). He has 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, in areas such as and organic petrology and geochemistry and chemostratigraphy for unconventional reservoirs, surface organic geochemistry applied to exploration and surface mapping for conventional reservoirs, and paleobotany of vascular plants research. He participated in projects for different oil companies in Argentina and Uruguay (YPF, ANCAP, Pampa Energía, Petrobras, Pluspetrol and several others). He is also a professor of Paleontology II at the University of La Plata, and responsible for the microscopic inventory at the Museum of La Plata (2023 – present). He is currently a consultant in areas of geosciences that include the integration of organic and inorganic well data analysis. He developed research as a consultant for Geodatatech SRL (2023-2025). Previously he worked at YPF Tecnología S.A. (Y TEC) as a technologist (2015 – 2023) in the areas of organic petrology and palynology, organic geochemistry, chemostratigraphy and surface geochemistry. From 2007 to 2012 he worked at Larriestra Geotecnología S.A. leading research in surface geochemistry surveys and as a technician in chemostratigraphy analysis. Later he worked as a consultant (2013-2014). He is the author of more than 30 unpublished reports on topics of organic petrology, organic geochemistry, chemostratigraphy, environmental impact of oil industry and surface geochemistry surveys. He is the author of 19 articles and presentations at conferences from 2007 to date.
